Your First Visit

From the moment you call Comfort Care Dental, our friendly team will gather as much information as possible to book the appropriate time you need. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted warmly greeted at reception and given a Medical History Form to complete. It is very important to complete the form as thorough as possible, as it gather important information, allowing us to best manage your wellbeing. Please bring any list of medications you are taking.

Your Dental Nurse will then greet you and show you into one of our dental surgeries, introducing you to the Dentist where you will have a discussion about any concerns or requirements you have, With the aid of x-rays and intra-oral photographs, and after the Dentist has completed a thorough examination of your teeth, they will then sit down with you and discuss their findings and the alternative treatment options, helping you to make the best decision suitable for you.

After the treatment, the receptionist will then arrange an appointment, around the time that best suits you. A detailed treatment plan will be provided with the full costings, and depending on the Health insurer, we are able to perform electronic quotes to determine your “out of pocket” expense.

All patients attending a Hygiene appointment will receive a complementary hygiene bag including toothbrush/paste, dental floss, mouth rinse and some oral hygiene information. This bag is perfect for people who like to travel.

What Should I Bring?

Comfort Care Dental is a preferred provider with many Health Funds and it’s important that each patient bring their current health insurance card with them to each appointment. This allows us to be able to claim on your behalf directly with the Health Fund at the time of your appointment.

Are You in Discomfort?

It is extremely important to get in touch with us immediately if you are experiencing a lot of discomfort or pain. Delays getting your teeth assessed can potentially lead to treatment becoming more extensive and limited by being left untreated, and in some cases can have a big impact on your general wellbeing.

We take this seriously and focus on having your situation assessed as soon as possible. Our aim is to book all patients appointments in by your desired time and will offer our standby list as an option should those times not be immediately available.
